The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a record-breaking prize pool of 3 billion rupees (112.5 million dollars) for the T20 World Cup 2024. The winning team will receive 68.28 Crore rupees (24.5 million dollars), while the runner-up will be awarded 35 Crore rupees (12.8 million dollars). Teams that reach the semifinals will each receive 21.94 Crore rupees (7.875 million dollars).

In addition to the top prizes, the teams that advance to the Super Eight stage but do not make it to the semifinals will get 10 Crore rupees (3.825 million dollars) each. Teams finishing 10th, 11th, and 12th will receive 7 Crore rupees (2.475 million dollars) each, while those ranked 13th to 20th will get 6 Crore rupees (2.25 million dollars) each. Additionally, each team will earn 86.83 Lakh rupees (31,154 dollars) for every match they win during the tournament.
The T20 World Cup will be held over 28 days, featuring 55 matches across 9 venues in the USA and West Indies. The group stage will include 40 matches, followed by the Super Eight stage. Four teams will advance to the semifinals, which will be hosted in Trinidad & Tobago and Guyana. The final match is scheduled to take place in Barbados on June 29.
