Ghee and oil have each decreased by 70 rupees per liter, now selling at 380 rupees
The prices of ghee and cooking oil have decreased further. According to Daily Pakistan Global, over the past month, the prices of Brand A and Brand B cooking oil and ghee have been reduced by 70 to 75 rupees.

The Dealers Association reports that Brand A oil has dropped by 75 rupees per liter, now costing 525 rupees, and Brand A ghee has decreased by 25 rupees per kilogram, also now at 525 rupees. Similarly, Brand B ghee and oil have each decreased by 70 rupees per liter, now selling at 380 rupees.
On the other hand, the State Bank of Pakistan, in its semi-annual economic review report, predicted an inflation rate of 23 to 25 percent for the current fiscal year. The report indicates that the trend of decreasing inflation is expected to continue over the next six months. If this trend persists, inflation could drop to just 5 to 7 percent by September 2025.
