The meeting, attended by industry leaders from companies like Nestle, Shezan, TetraPak, PepsiCo, Haleeb Foods, and Popular Group, discussed concerns regarding increased tariff rates, including Federal Excise Duty (FED) and Goods and Services Tax (GST). The delegation highlighted a significant 40% decline in juice sales due to these tax hikes, impacting the rural economy and fruit growers associated with the sector.
