Father Fatally Shoots Son Over Hosting Political Party Flag on The House Ahead of Elections
A heated disagreement over which political party’s flag to display took a tragic turn as a father shot and killed his 31-year-old son on the outskirts of Peshawar. The son, who recently returned from working in Qatar, raised the flag of Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) at the family home, sparking a dispute with his father. Despite the father’s objections, the son insisted on keeping the PTI flag, leading to an escalating argument. In a fit of anger, the father fired a pistol at his son, who succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital. The father fled the scene after the tragic incident.
