Felismino da Costa, the Director General of the Institute of Agrarian Development (IDA), has emphasized the need for 800,000 tons of fertilizers annually in Angola to support agricultural activities and attain food security. Currently, the country utilizes less than 50,000 tons, posing a challenge to achieving self-sufficiency in food production.
