vivo Launches ‘Capture the Future’ CSR Program to Empower Youth Through Visual Storytelling
vivo, in collaboration with SOS Children’s Villages Pakistan, has launched a flagship three-year CSR initiative titled Capture the Future. With a donation of PKR 20 million, the program is designed to offer inclusive education through mobile imaging technology. Initially launching in six cities—Lahore, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Sialkot, and Multan—the initiative aims to foster creativity, imagination, and storytelling among underprivileged children by integrating aesthetic education with technology.

SOS Children’s Villages Join Hands with vivo for PKR 20 Million Educational Tech Initiative

As part of the program, each SOS Village will host 24 photography and videography classes annually, facilitated by trained instructors using vivo V50 5G smartphones. These classes will be conducted in newly established vivo Imaging Classrooms, complete with Image Corners for displaying students’ creative work. A yearly Photography Camp, led by renowned photographer Haris Sagheer Bhatti, will offer hands-on mentoring, while annual video exhibitions and documentaries will showcase children’s stories to a broader audience.

To ensure responsible tech usage, structured guidelines have been implemented by SOS Children’s Villages. The initiative was officially launched at a ceremony attended by senior leadership from both organizations, including vivo’s Chief Brand Officer Andy Sun and SOS Pakistan’s National Director Saba Faisal. Through Capture the Future, vivo emphasizes its commitment to social impact, using innovation to empower the next generation with tools to creatively express themselves and build a brighter future.
