US Admiral Warns China Set to Surpass US as World’s Largest Air Force
A top US military official, Navy Adm. John Aquilino, has cautioned that China is on track to surpass the United States as the world’s largest air force. He labeled China’s military modernization as “the biggest threat since World War 2,” highlighting its potential to destabilize the Indo-Pacific region.
Aquilino noted China’s ambitious military expansion, particularly in aviation capabilities. China has made significant progress in developing advanced fighter aircraft and stealth bombers, posing a challenge to US military dominance in the region.
