The UAE has reinforced its commitment to educational excellence by awarding 16,456 Golden Visas to outstanding students and education specialists. The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security announced the initiative, which recognizes top high school graduates, leading university graduates, and expert educators from both local and international institutions.

Aga Khan University in Pakistan Honours the Founder, 473 Graduates

Among the recipients, 10,710 top high school students received the Golden Visa, forming the largest group in the program. Additionally, 5,246 graduates from accredited UAE universities were honored, along with 337 education specialists. The initiative also acknowledged 147 graduates from internationally accredited institutions and 16 elite scholars.

The announcement was made by Maj-Gen Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director General of ICP, on Emirati Education Day (February 28). He emphasized the UAE’s leadership in education and its commitment to building a skilled and knowledgeable national workforce. According to Al Khaili, the country’s education strategy is focused on preparing individuals to master advanced skills and contribute to national growth.

The Golden Visa initiative not only rewards academic excellence but also strengthens the UAE’s position as an education hub. By attracting and retaining top talent, the country aims to foster innovation, research, and economic development.
