A tragic accident occurred on Saturday night when a passenger Land Cruiser traveling from Chitral to Yarkhun Lasht met with an accident at Palmothing near Brep during heavy rain. The vehicle, carrying about 18 passengers, fell off the narrow and dilapidated road into the riverbed.
As a result, two children aged between eight and ten years lost their lives on the spot, while 14 passengers were injured. The injured were initially brought to the Basic Health Unit (BHU) in Brep, with six of them later being shifted to Booni for further treatment.

Despite the severity of the incident, the names of the deceased and the injured have not yet been released. The accident highlights the dangerous road conditions in the area, exacerbated by heavy rainfall.
