Pakistan to Send Female Beauticians to Saudi Arabia for the First Time Under Labor Export Program
For the first time, trained female beauticians from Pakistan will be sent to Saudi Arabia for employment opportunities. This initiative is part of the growing labor export relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia — the Kingdom being the most preferred destination for Pakistani skilled workers and laborers, who collectively remit around $700 million per month back to their homeland.
Traditionally, Pakistani skilled labor migrating to Gulf countries includes professionals from healthcare, engineering, and technical sectors. However, this marks the first occasion where skilled workers from the beauty and personal care sector will be deployed to Saudi Arabia.

According to the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP), the Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC) — a department under the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development — will oversee the recruitment and placement of these female beauticians.
A private Saudi firm has announced job openings for female beauticians skilled in hair cutting, nail technicians, eyelash specialists, makeup artists, waxing and bleaching experts, and wig technicians. Applicants are required to have a minimum of three years of professional experience and be under 40 years of age.
The company will offer a monthly salary of 3,000 Saudi Riyals (approximately 800 USD). In addition to the salary, selected candidates will receive free accommodation, food allowance, and two-way air travel tickets.
