The addition of these narrow-body A321 Neos complements Riyadh Air’s initial order of 39 Boeing 787 Dreamliners, placed in March 2023, with options for 33 more wide-body jets to serve long-haul routes. This new Airbus order brings the airline’s total fleet order to 132 aircraft, solidifying its position in the fast-growing Saudi aviation sector. Riyadh Air aims to introduce two new routes per month for the next five years, with the objective of reaching 100 destinations by 2030. Delivery of the A321 Neos is scheduled for the second half of 2026.

More than 6,700 A321 Neos have been ordered by more than 90 airlines across the world, according to Airbus.
