Over 415,000 Tourists Flock to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Scenic Sites During Eid-ul-Azha

During Eid-ul-Azha, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa welcomed a total of 415,731 tourists, including 415,569 domestic and 162 foreign visitors. Key scenic spots such as Dir Upper, Malam Jabba, Galliyat, Chitral Upper, Chitral Lower, Kaghan, and Naran attracted large crowds. Kaghan and Naran saw the highest influx with 174,720 tourists, while Galliyat received 162,872 visitors.

Other popular destinations included Chitral Lower with 23,440 tourists and Malam Jabba in Swat district with 46,631 visitors. The data was gathered from police and levis check posts, Assistant Commissioner offices, and field Assistant Directors of Development authorities, highlighting the region’s appeal as a major tourist attraction during the festive period.
