Over 20 Million Worshippers Visit Prophet’s Mosque During First 20 Days of Ramadan
During the first 20 days of Ramadan, more than 20 million worshippers visited and prayed at the Prophet’s Mosque complex in Madinah, Saudi authorities reported. The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque has been working diligently to accommodate and serve the influx of visitors during this holy month.
The total number of pilgrims praying at the mosque reached an impressive 19,899,991. Additionally, 1,643,288 visitors specifically paid their respects at the tomb of Prophet Muhammad, an integral part of the mosque complex. The Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifa, a revered area within the mosque, welcomed 655,227 visitors, with 358,632 men and 296,595 women making the pilgrimage.
