RCCI Honors Lt. Gen. (R) Nigar Johar for Championing Gender Equality and Leadership

Lieutenant General (Retired) Nigar Johar Khan, Pakistan’s first female Surgeon General, has been appointed as the Brand Ambassador for Women’s Empowerment by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI).
The announcement was made during RCCI’s special event, “SHE LEADS – A Tribute to Women,” which celebrated women’s leadership and achievements. RCCI honored Lt. Gen. (R) Nigar for her contributions to promoting gender equality and recognized her as a pioneer in breaking barriers for women.
In her keynote speech, Nigar Johar lauded RCCI’s efforts in advancing women’s development. She also expressed strong support for a proposed solidarity walk with the Palestinian ambassador, emphasizing unity with Gaza and highlighting the importance of global solidarity.
