Kinnaird College Hosts 4th International Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities
LAHORE: Kinnaird College for Women successfully held its 4th International Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities on February 26, 2024, gathering scholars and researchers from around the globe. The event, documented with a group photo shared by the Punjab Higher Education Commission on Facebook, saw the participation of Dr. Shahid Munir, Chairperson of PHEC, as the chief guest, alongside Principal Dr. Rukhsana David, Prof. Dr. Ghazala Yaqub, and other distinguished figures.
Punjab Government Builds Nursing College and Hostel
The conference served as a vibrant forum for the exchange of ideas, featuring eight international speakers from the United States and showcasing around 400 papers across 40 technical sessions from approximately 50 national and international universities. The event was enriched with three focused workshops, a book launch, and an idea/poster competition, underlining its commitment to fostering dialogue and collaboration between academia and industry.

In a related event, Justice Chaudhry Khalid Rasheed of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir High Court delivered a special lecture on “Criminal Law: Challenges and Opportunities” at the Punjab University Institute of Social & Cultural Studies. He urged students and scholars to critically engage with information sources and contribute to the establishment of the rule of law, highlighting the importance of honesty and hard work in upholding ethical values in society.
