Chinese companies have removed the name of Israel from their online digital maps
Baidu and Alibaba, Chinese companies, have omitted the mention of Israel on their online digital maps.
As per a Wall Street Journal report, Israel’s name is conspicuously absent from the digital maps offered by these companies.

Furthermore, the report notes that these maps display Palestinian territories along the internationally recognized borders of Israel but do not designate Israel as a distinct country.
Interestingly, the report highlights that even a relatively small country like Luxembourg is identified on these online maps, though the Chinese companies have not provided any explanation for this omission.
