BYD (Build Your Dreams), the leading global manufacturer of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), has announced its entry into the passenger vehicle market in Pakistan through a partnership with Mega Conglomerate Pvt. Ltd. (Mega). This move marks a significant milestone for BYD as it expands into one of South Asia’s largest markets, aiming to offer innovative and eco-friendly vehicle solutions to Pakistani consumers. The announcement was made during the BYD Asia Pacific Dealer Conference event in Xi’an, China.

At the signing ceremony, Liu Xueliang, General Manager of BYD Asia Pacific Auto Sales Division, emphasized the significance of the partnership in promoting a greener future. He highlighted BYD’s achievement of over 3 million annual sales of NEVs in 2023, reinforcing its global leadership in the sector. Liu expressed optimism that the collaboration with Mega would accelerate the electrification of Pakistan’s automotive industry, providing accessible green products to local customers and contributing to the company’s global vision of reducing the earth’s temperature by 1 degree.
