Azad Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Finance, Cooperatives and Inland Revenue and Chairman Board of Directors BAJK Mr. Khan Abdul Majid Khan has said that the Bank of AJK is owned by the state and the government will welcome investment in it. After getting scheduled status, branches of BAJK will be opened all over the world. This bank is a brand name of the state. He was addressing a meeting organized on the occasion of the visit of Dr. Khurram Tariq, President of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) at the bank’s head office here yesterday.
The minister said that the government is committed to provide all basic facilities and protection to investors so that they can establish and promote their business here with full security. Speaking on the occasion, FCCI President expressed his best wishes for the development and success of the BAJK and expressed his determination that the Faisalabad Chamber stands with the people of Azad Kashmir and we will continue the process of investment in this beautiful region.

He welcomed the announcement by the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir that his government will provide full protection and tax relief to investors who want to invest their money in any commercial venture in this peaceful region. Earlier on arriving the head office, the President of Faisalabad Chamber was received by the President/CEO of the Bank, Mr. Khawar Saeed and other executives. Later, detailed briefing was given in the meeting. On this occasion the BAJK President said that it is the Kashmir Bank’s mission to provide the best banking services to the customers. ‘’In less than three years, the profit of the BAJK has increased manifold while achieving financial results’’, he said. At the end the chief guest was presented with a shield.
