Chinese Firm in Gwadar Secures License to Export Donkey Meat to China
A Chinese company based in Gwadar North Free Zone, Hangeng, has officially obtained a license from the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China (GACC) to export donkey meat to China. This marks a significant step in Pakistan’s emerging export sector.

According to Gwadar Pro, all licensing requirements, inspections, certifications, and regulatory standards have been successfully met, paving the way for shipments to begin this week. A company official expressed satisfaction over the approval, noting that the process had been completed in full compliance with Chinese customs regulations.
Hangeng plans to export approximately 50 containers of donkey meat from Pakistan to China every month, highlighting the scale of the new trade initiative. The development is expected to strengthen Gwadar’s role as a growing hub for international exports and deepen economic ties between Pakistan and China.
