Emirates Celebrates Karachi Milestone with Retrofitted Aircraft Showcase
KARACHI, Pakistan – 24 October 2025: Emirates marked 40 years of operations to Karachi by showcasing its newly retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft, now featuring Premium Economy cabins. The milestone event took place at Jinnah International Airport, where key stakeholders, government officials, and media representatives were given an exclusive tour of the airline’s refreshed four-class configuration.
The commemorative flight, operating as EK600, landed in Karachi at 10:45 AM, offering guests a firsthand look at Emirates’ Premium Economy experience—now available on an expanding number of global routes. The event was attended by UAE Consul General H.E. Bakheet Ateeq Al-Rumaithi and other dignitaries, hosted by Emirates’ Vice President for Pakistan, Mohammed Alhashmi. The celebration highlighted Emirates’ long-standing commitment to Pakistan and its continued investment in enhancing passenger comfort and service.
