Karachi — Bank Alfalah, one of Pakistan’s leading commercial banks, through its Islamic banking division, has been recognised with two prestigious accolades at the 2025 Global Islamic Finance Awards (GIFA): Best Bank for Islamic Window Business and Excellence in Shari’ah Assurance. Held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the 15th GIFA Annual Awards ceremony brought together more than 50 eminent contributors and leaders from across the global Islamic finance ecosystem, with participation from the GCC, the Far East, Africa, Asia, and the Western Hemisphere. The Honourable Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, was the Guest of Honour, and the awards were handed over by the 15th President of the Maldives, His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
