Islamabad Food Authority Raids Farmhouse, Seizes Donkey Meat

Donkey Meat Operation Uncovered in Islamabad

The Islamabad Food Authority has launched an operation after uncovering the illegal sale of donkey meat within the capital city. The discovery was made in the Tarnol area, where a foreign national is allegedly involved in the illicit trade.

Acting on information, the Food Authority raided a farmhouse in Tarnol, finding several live donkeys on the premises. During the raid, a significant quantity of already butchered donkey meat was also recovered. Officials on site immediately destroyed the seized meat, while the live donkeys were taken into custody.

A substantial police force accompanied the Food Authority during the operation to ensure security and facilitate the raid. Authorities have not yet released the identity or nationality of the implicated foreign national. Islamabad Food Authority officials have confirmed that further investigations are ongoing, and legal action is expected against those responsible for this illegal sale, raising serious concerns about food safety and the need for stricter oversight of meat sales in the capital.
