Huawei Introduces Solar-Battery-Grid Solution for Pakistani Homes with Real-Time Monitoring and Backup Power
Huawei Digital Power Launches Smart Residential Hybrid Energy System in Pakistan
Huawei Digital Power Pakistan has officially unveiled its Smart Residential Hybrid Energy System, offering homeowners energy independence, reliable backup power, and significant cost savings. The announcement was made during the “Huawei Powering Pakistan – Advancing Energy Through Innovation” event held in Karachi.
Seamless Solar, Battery, and Grid Integration for Load-Shedding Relief
The new system combines Huawei’s advanced hybrid inverters — SUN2000‑5‑12K‑MAP0 and SUN2000‑12‑25K‑MB0 — with LUNA2000 modular lithium-ion batteries available in 7 kWh, 14 kWh, and 21 kWh options. This setup efficiently stores surplus solar energy for night-time use or grid outages, ensuring an uninterrupted power supply amid Pakistan’s rising electricity tariffs and frequent load-shedding crises.

To enhance home safety, the system includes a SmartGuard device for surge protection, leakage detection, and smart diagnostics. Additionally, a real-time mobile app allows homeowners to monitor and manage their energy consumption and savings on the go.
Empowering Households with Sustainable, Smart Energy Solutions
Kevin JinYu, Managing Director of Huawei Digital Power Pakistan, emphasized the company’s commitment:
“Our goal is to empower every household in Pakistan with intelligent, sustainable energy—helping build a smarter, greener, and more resilient future.”
Huawei also launched a nationwide Installer Rewards Program, encouraging certified solar professionals to adopt the system by earning points and unlocking incentives for each installation. This move aims to accelerate residential solar adoption and support Pakistan’s sustainable development goals while expanding Huawei’s clean energy footprint in the country.
