Coop Alleanza 3.0 Drops Israeli Products, Introduces ‘Gaza Cola’ in Support of Palestinians
Coop Alleanza 3.0, Italy’s largest consumer cooperative, has announced the suspension of Israeli products from sale across its nearly 350 stores in eight regions. This decision comes in response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis and violence in Gaza. The cooperative stated that it seeks to show solidarity with innocent civilians affected by the conflict.

The retailer has confirmed that items including Israeli-made tahini, peanuts, and SodaStream products will be removed from its shelves. In a further display of support for Palestine, Coop is also introducing Gaza Cola, a fizzy drink produced as a symbol of solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Similar actions have been taken by other Coop branches in Tuscany, Lazio, and Umbria, though they’ve clarified this does not amount to a formal boycott but rather a temporary suspension driven by humanitarian concerns.
