Chinese Firm Developing Hypersonic Jet to Circle the Globe in 7 Hours
A Chinese aerospace company, Lingkong Tianxing Technology, is working on an ambitious new hypersonic passenger aircraft named Yunxing. Designed to revolutionize air travel, this futuristic jet could potentially fly around the world in just 7 hours.
The prototype has already achieved speeds of Mach 4 (four times the speed of sound) during test flights, and the company aims to launch a commercial version by 2027. Their target is to eventually reach a staggering speed of Mach 16, making it one of the fastest passenger aircraft ever envisioned.
