Gujrat Women Chamber Inaugurated: A New Era for Female Entrepreneurs in Pakistan

Business Leaders Rally Behind Women’s Empowerment at Gujrat Women Chamber Ceremony

Gujrat – Atif Ikram Sheikh, President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI), emphasized that women’s economic empowerment is crucial for Pakistan’s development while addressing the inauguration of the Gujrat Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He stated that when women enter business, it strengthens both household incomes and national progress. Sheikh congratulated the newly elected leadership—President Saima Sarfraz, Senior VP Nabeela Nasir, and VP Urooj Nawaz—pledging FPCCI’s full support to make the chamber a guiding force for women entrepreneurs.

FPCCI Chief Atif Ikram Sheikh Stresses Women’s Economic Empowerment at Gujrat Women Chamber Launch

The event, attended by prominent business and political figures including SM Tanveer (UBG Patron-in-Chief), Zafar Bakhtawari (UBG Secretary General), and Haji Nasir Mehmood (Gujrat Chamber Group Leader), highlighted the chamber’s role in fostering female-led businesses. Tanveer praised Gujrat’s women for their determination, while Bakhtawari called the chamber a platform for innovation and economic participation. Haji Nasir Mehmood, instrumental in the chamber’s formation, vowed continued support for women’s financial independence and skill development.
