foodpanda Hosts Rider Safety & Health Week to Support Delivery Partners
foodpanda, Pakistan’s leading online delivery platform, recently concluded its Rider Safety & Health Week, reaffirming its commitment to rider well-being. The initiative, supported by various partners and internal teams, aimed to equip riders with vital road safety knowledge, health services, and care-driven resources. Head of Logistics, Ahsan Malik, emphasized the importance of fostering a culture of safety and appreciation for the delivery partners who drive foodpanda’s services.

The week featured multiple awareness and training activities, including a road safety video with automotive expert Suneel Munj, and in-person sessions at foodpanda’s Lahore office. Atlas Honda organized road safety training for over 50 riders, while partners like WASL and KAACIB offered bike upgrades, maintenance services, and home repair discounts. Additionally, Qist Bazaar distributed AirPods and provided easy instalment plans for essential products, while Action Oils contributed free engine oils and filters to support rider vehicle upkeep.

Focusing on rider health, foodpanda set up a two-day Health Camp at its Karachi head office with over 10 health partners offering free checkups and tests to more than 100 riders and staff. Comprehensive road safety training was also conducted in collaboration with Karachi Traffic Police. The successful initiative reflects foodpanda’s ongoing investment in the safety, health, and overall welfare of its delivery community, building a more empowered and responsible service network across Pakistan.
