The MICHELIN Guide has unveiled its 2025 Dubai selection, marking a transformative moment in the city’s culinary journey. For the first time, two Dubai establishments have been awarded the prestigious Three MICHELIN Stars: Trèsind Studio and FZN by Björn Frantzén.

This year’s edition features 119 restaurants across 35 cuisines, reflecting a 72.5% increase from the inaugural 2022 guide. The expansion underscores Dubai’s rapid ascent as a global gastronomic hub.

Historic Accolades:

Trèsind Studio, led by Chef Himanshu Saini, becomes the first Indian restaurant globally to receive Three MICHELIN Stars. The restaurant offers an immersive dining experience, reimagining traditional Indian dishes with contemporary flair.

FZN by Björn Frantzén, a new entrant in Dubai’s dining scene, also secures Three MICHELIN Stars. This achievement makes Chef Frantzén the first chef worldwide to hold Three MICHELIN Stars for three different restaurants.
Two new restaurants have been awarded One MICHELIN Star, bringing the total to 14.
Five new establishments have received the Bib Gourmand distinction, recognizing quality dining at moderate prices.

The MICHELIN Guide Dubai 2025 selection was announced during a ceremony at Address Sky View hotel, celebrating the city’s diverse and dynamic culinary landscape.

“Dubai’s rapid transformation into a global culinary hub is testament to its diversity and excellence,” said Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the MICHELIN Guide.

MICHELIN Guide Dubai 2025 Highlights

In this year’s selection, FZN by Björn Frantzén debuts with an impressive three MICHELIN stars, while Trèsind Studio earned a well-deserved promotion to join the elite three-star ranks.

The two-star category features renowned names such as Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, Row on 45, and STAY by Yannick Alléno.

The one-star list includes celebrated restaurants like 11 Woodfire, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, and newcomers Jamavar and Manāo.

Sustainability Recognized with Green Stars

Three restaurants were recognized for their sustainable culinary practices with MICHELIN Green Stars: Boca, LOWE, and Teible.

Bib Gourmand Honours Casual Excellence

The Bib Gourmand category, which spotlights establishments offering quality food at reasonable prices, included favorites like 21 Grams, 3Fils, Bait Maryam, and exciting new entries such as DUO Gastrobar – Creek Harbour, Harummanis, Khadak, and Sufret Maryam.

Special Awards Celebrate Culinary Talent

The 2025 MICHELIN Special Awards acknowledged the rising stars of Dubai’s culinary scene:

  • Young Chef Award: Abhiraj Khatwani, Manāo
  • Sommelier Award: Shiv Menon, Boca
  • Service Award: Al Khayma Heritage Restaurant
  • Opening of the Year: Ronin
