Dubai’s Millionaire Population Doubles in a Decade, Cementing Wealth Hub Status
Dubai has experienced an extraordinary surge in its millionaire population over the past ten years, witnessing a remarkable 102% increase. This significant growth, as highlighted in a 2024 report by New World Wealth, firmly establishes Dubai as one of the fastest-growing wealth centers globally. The city’s millionaire count has more than doubled from 40,000 in 2014 to an impressive 81,200 in 2024, which includes 237 individuals with over $100 million in assets (centimillionaires) and 20 billionaires.
‘Cashless Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’ to Revolutionize Business Transactions
This influx of wealth is attributed to Dubai’s attractive policies for investors, its tax-free income environment, and the exceptional quality of life it offers. High-net-worth individuals are drawn to the city’s safe environment, advanced infrastructure, and efficient education and healthcare systems, particularly those relocating from countries like the UK where tax burdens are increasing.
