Kerala’s labour minister, V Sivankutty, has directed the district labour officer to investigate the matter and submit an immediate report. In the visuals, a person can be seen using a leash to compel another to crawl on the floor, while employees claimed that they endured degrading punishments when they failed to meet targets.

The incident reportedly occurred at a firm in Perumbavoor, which markets and sells products for an associated business in Kaloor. The State Human Rights Commission and Kerala State Youth Commission have registered separate cases against the alleged harassment. Both bodies have demanded strict legal action and reports from the police.
