Interest-Free Home Loans Up to Rs. 1.5M Now Available
Peshawar: Bank of Khyber (BoK) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Housing Authority to implement the “Ehsaas Apna Ghar Scheme,” aimed at providing interest-free housing loans to low-income individuals. The signing ceremony took place at the Chief Minister’s House in Peshawar, attended by Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, Special Assistant for Housing Dr. Amjid Ali, and BoK CEO Hassan Raza, among other senior officials.

Under the scheme, eligible individuals can access interest-free loans of up to Rs. 1.5 million for constructing or renovating homes. With a budget of Rs. 4 billion and a seven-year repayment plan, the initiative ensures long-term sustainability through a revolving fund model.
