Manisha Ali and Maliha Ali Bringing Home Gold and Bronze
Pakistani twin sisters Manisha Ali and Maliha Ali made the nation proud by winning gold and bronze medals at the 6th Asian Taekwondo Championship in Indonesia. Manisha Ali secured the gold in the over 73kg category, while her sister Maliha Ali earned a bronze in the 73kg category. Their exceptional performances are a source of immense pride for Pakistan on the international stage.
The sisters, originally from Hunza, Gilgit-Baltistan, are currently studying at Lahore Garrison University under a special program. They were part of a 16-member Pakistani taekwondo squad competing at the prestigious event held at the Indore Stadium Sports Center in Tangerang, Indonesia, from October 15 to 18.

The championship featured over 275 athletes from various Asian countries, including India, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and host Indonesia. Led by Lieutenant Colonel Zeeshan Aslam and coached by Master Yusuf Karami, the Pakistani team demonstrated strong performances in multiple categories, with the Ali sisters standing out.
