Mystery Solved: Expired Juice Blamed for Deaths of Four Family Members on Motorway Near Bhera
The tragic deaths of four family members from Lahore, whose bodies were found in a car on the M-2 Motorway near Bhera, have been attributed to the consumption of expired juice. The victims, three women and a young child, were traveling from Lahore to Islamabad when the incident occurred. The deceased were identified as Romaila (55), Maher (30), Samar (25), and Aun Ali (6).
Rescue teams discovered the lifeless bodies in the parked car, while the driver, Umar Qasim, was found unconscious and later revived. Upon regaining consciousness, Umar revealed that the family had consumed juice during their journey, leading to their sudden loss of consciousness. The police recovered empty juice boxes from the vehicle, which were determined to be expired.
The bodies have been sent to THQ Hospital in Bhalwal for further investigation to confirm the cause of death and provide closure to the grieving family. The incident highlights the dangers of consuming expired food and beverages, especially during long journeys.
