The pilot phase in Upper Chitral follows a briefing by Chief Secretary Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry, who assessed the situation in the area after a glacier outburst. The chief minister also called for short and long-term planning to support the displaced population, including exploring housing solutions and developing a sustainable rehabilitation plan. The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to improving education in remote areas and supporting those affected by natural disasters.

Additionally, the meeting discussed plans to improve education in remote districts, including Shangla. The chief minister instructed the education department to establish a school in Shangla, fulfilling a promise made to a top-scoring female student who had to travel long distances to attend school. This effort underscores the government’s dedication to ensuring educational opportunities for all students, regardless of their location.
