New Service Offers Customers and Captains Flexibility to Choose Preferred Fares
Careem, the pioneering ride-hailing service in Pakistan, has introduced its ‘Flexi’ car type in Karachi, allowing customers and Captains to select their preferred fares. After a successful launch in Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Lahore, Faisalabad, and Multan, where it received overwhelmingly positive feedback, Flexi has now made its way to Karachi.

With Flexi Ride, customers are shown a suggested fare when booking, which they can adjust up or down. This bid is then sent to multiple Captains in the area, who can accept the ride or propose a counter-bid. Once a price is agreed upon, a Captain is assigned, and the journey begins. Flexi Ride offers four categories: Flexi GO, Flexi GO Mini, Flexi Bikes, and Flexi Riksha, while the GO Premium category remains unchanged with a variable fare model.
