Gold prices in Pakistan saw a significant drop on Friday, following a record high in the domestic market the previous day. According to the Sarafa Association, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs3,000, bringing it down to Rs251,000. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold decreased by Rs2,572, settling at Rs215,192.
In the international market, the price of gold also declined, dropping by $55 to settle at $2,415 per ounce. Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan followed a similar trend, with per tola silver falling by Rs50 to reach Rs2,850, and the price of 10-gram silver decreasing by Rs42.87 to settle at Rs2,443.41.
On Thursday, gold prices in Pakistan had surged to an all-time high. Per tola gold price increased by Rs4,600 to reach Rs254,000, while the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs3,944 to settle at Rs217,764, driven by rising international prices.
