A TikToker was shot dead by a security guard near Sakhi Hassan Chowrangi in Karachi’s North Nazimabad area on Monday, as reported by Express News. The incident took place at the Sareena Mobile Market, where the TikToker was recording a video. The security guard instructed him to stop recording and leave the premises immediately.
Despite the guard’s warnings, the TikToker continued recording, which reportedly provoked the guard to open fire in anger. Police reported that the TikToker died on the spot, and his body was subsequently transported to the hospital for official procedures.
Following the incident, police arrived at the scene, collected evidence, and arrested the security guard. An investigation into the matter is currently ongoing.
