Pakistan’s STEM Careers Programme
Students from Jamia Baitussalam Madrasa achieved a remarkable victory at the 19th National Engineering Robotics Contest (NERC), outshining numerous colleges and universities. Held at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan’s STEM Careers Programme, the event aimed to promote robotics research in the country.

Participants from various educational institutions competed in automation and robotics categories from July 11 to 15, with Jamia Baitussalam excelling in their performance and earning widespread recognition.
The Baitussalam Welfare Trust, the organization behind the Madrasa, expressed gratitude and credited God for their team’s outstanding achievement. The students’ dedication and hard work paid off, securing them first place in the Modular School category and both first and second places in the Ready to Race category. This victory adds to Jamia Baitussalam’s impressive track record of success in several competitions, highlighting their commitment to excellence in robotics.
