The Palestinian Civil Defence reported that the number of bodies retrieved from temporary mass graves at the hospital has risen to over 390, including those of children. Israeli forces withdrew from Khan Younis on April 7 after a prolonged ground invasion that included the storming of the Nasser Medical Complex. Since October 7, Israeli forces have killed over 34,200 Palestinians and injured at least 77,200 others in Gaza, while a crippling siege has pushed the enclave’s population, especially in northern Gaza, closer to starvation.
