A 23-year-old youth lost his life in Narowal after reportedly being hit by the squad vehicle of Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz. The incident occurred near Chandowal when Abu Bakar, traveling on a motorbike, was allegedly struck by the protocol vehicle. The FIR, registered at Saddar police station, narrates that the vehicle was part of the Punjab CM’s convoy en route to Kartarpur. The collision, attributed to overtaking, resulted in Abu Bakar’s demise, while his friend, also on the motorcycle, escaped unhurt.
