Abhinav’s commitment to uplift local farmers and the dignity of farming has paid off. His Gerbera farming venture, launched in 2016 at the age of 31, quickly flourished. With an investment of 58,16,000 rupees, including a bank loan of 48 lakhs and personal savings, he set up a 4,000-square-meter polyhouse in his village. The first harvest in February 2021 marked the start of a thriving business.
Within just one year, Abhinav’s Gerbera cultivation achieved a monthly revenue of 1.5 lakh rupees and provided livelihoods to 100 individuals in various roles, including farming, packaging, transportation, and sales.
Abhinav’s sustainable business model sources Gerbera plants locally, ensuring freshness and benefiting both him and his community. He aspires to inspire fellow farmers to prioritize local farming and community development.
