10-Year-Old Kerala Chef Sets Asian Record with 33 Dishes in 60 Minutes
Saanvi M Prajit, a 10-year-old from Ernakulam, Kerala, has made a name for herself in the culinary world by setting a remarkable record. Recognized by the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records, Saanvi prepared an impressive 33 dishes in less than an hour. This young chef’s culinary skills include dishes like paneer tikka, egg bull’s eye, and mushroom tikka, showcasing a diverse range of flavors. Her mother, Manjma Prajit, a cookery show finalist, revealed that Saanvi’s feat was monitored online by record authorities and witnessed by two gazetted officers.
Manjma, who believes that cooking is in their genes, shared that Saanvi has been exposed to a variety of foods due to her father’s role in the Air Force, which often involved hosting food-laden parties. Saanvi’s interest in cooking began at the age of six, and she even cooked ada payasam for a cookery show. Despite her young age and limited experience with stove cooking, she showed remarkable talent and dedication, which was evident in her recent achievement.

In addition to her record-setting feat, Saanvi has her own YouTube channel where she shares her recipes. Saanvi’s determination and practice paid off, as she not only met but exceeded the requirement. Her accomplishment is a testament to her passion and skill, and she continues to inspire many with her culinary talents.
